Cardiology Appointment And Overdue Update......

WOW....its been a while since I have did a blog update, but no news is good news;) Callie is doing very well and for a minute you forget she has any health problems!

Today she had her 1st cardiology appointment in 2mths, which is amazing. Usually we see our favorite cardiologist, Dr. Lacey at least every couple of weeks. Things went well today, Callie has gained some weight and grown almost an inch.

Her vital were as follows:

Weight: 26.5lbs. Oxygen Saturation: 82%
Height: 39in.
**Still a small fry:)

Callie's blood pressure was a littl higher than we would like so Dr. Lacey bumped up her Enalapril. Hopefully, that will do the trick!

We continue to enjoy this nice break from the hospital and trips to CA. It is always in the back of our minds that we could be back there in a blink of an eye....With that said, please continue to remember Callie in your prayers that the Lord will keep her stable and healthy for the next 9mths or even longer.

The weather has been B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L and we have been taking full advantage of it, with lots of trips to the park.

Its hard to believe that Miss Callie will be 5yrs. old in a little less than 6mths. (Even though, she constantly gets mistaken for a 2 1/2 or 3yr. old.)LOL She is growing up so fast, her speech continues to improve and is alot easier to understand these days! She has actually started to sing bits of songs which she has never been able to do before:) Of course, she continues to be Miss Independent...my baby isn't a baby anymore:(

Thanks for checking in!
