Cardiology Appointment

Callie saw her cardiologist today, her appointment went well. She weighs 19lbs. and is 32.5in. One pound away from the glorious 20lb mark!!!!!! Callie remains stable, no real changes. Her breathing is a little harder, which we have notice since returning home from California in September but nothing to be too concerned about. Her next trip to California is schedule for the second week in January. She will have her 7th cardiac catherization and possible heart surgery depending on the results of the cath. We are still working on teaching Callie more sign language, since she is not making any progress with talking at this time. We know it will come, just a matter of when. She still says, her same few words and no more than that. Callie is into baby dolls right now and loves carrying them around, putting her diapers on them and rocking them. She is such a character;) I'm thinking she is really going to enjoy Christmas this year! I can't wait to put the tree up and lights outside, she will be so excited to see all of it. Last year, she still wasn't old enough to really care. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving:)

Halloween Fun:)

Callie refused to where her costume for Halloween, Nana had bought her a cute butterfly costume. But, Callie is a freak about bugs and because it had antennas, she wouldn't go near it. It was pretty hilarious:) We did however try and dress her up as a cheerleader the best we could. She had fun with that! Our pumpkins we carved turned out AWESOME!! All in all, it was a fun day. Hopefully, next year Callie will actually where her costume. LOL In my dreams;)
